Johanson Releases New Directional 2.4GHz Patch Antenna

Because 2.4GHz applications have gotten more and more sophisticated, Johanson Technology has launched its first 2440MHz directional patch antenna. This 12x12x4mm SMD component will radiate mostly in the +Z direction. In other words, the majority of the radiation pattern (3.5dBi) will occur directly above the component where one can design-in with certain predictability. It is surface mount (SMT) and can solve unique application requirements for smart lock access, IoT, BLE, Bluetooth location beacon, lighting, drones, LoRa, Zigbee, indoor location, etc.
