StockBase Clerk

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Stockbase Lead, this position is responsible and will alternate between pre-packaging products and scanning documents to produce digital copies for record retention.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for pre-packaging of product according to customer requirement before the shipping process.
  • Maintain stock by stocking in and/or stocking out of products.
  • Communicates with Lead on shipments and priorities.
  • Scan hard copy records to convert them into electronic files.
  • Responsible to file and save the electronic and hard copy file in the appropriate location.
  • Perform quality checks of newly saved documents.

The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to do the following:

  • Reaching above shoulder height and lifting up to 25lbs., 25% of shift
  • Bending/ twisting waist, sitting, standing/walking, twisting neck, power grasping using hands, fine hand manipulation and pushing/pulling movements using one or both hands 50-75% of shift
  • Must be able to climb stairs to carry documents (2nd floor), 50 – 75% of shift
  • Bending neck, simple hand grasping using hands and lifting up to 30lbs, 90% of shift.

Position Type/Expected hours of work:

  • This is a full-time non-exempt position. Forty or more (40+) hours within a workweek

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in pulling, packing and data entry
